I observed in a collector's guide another day a listing that said the model 12 was generated only in 1970 and 1971--a discrepancy obviously. I am thinking we nevertheless do not have fully correct and reputable details on Dan Wesson generation.Hence the cylinder is certainly distinctive.  Possibly the threading differs from model to model to keep
